Milton Pediatric Speech & Language provides engaging, evidence-based speech and language therapy for toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children. Our playful sessions make the learning process motivating and fun! Parents are always welcome to get involved in the therapy process to learn new strategies for supporting communication in everyday life.

Is your child's speech difficult to understand? We use a variety of proven methods to help them achieve clear speech while engaging in their interests! Speech therapy will help your child use all age-appropriate speech sounds, repair sound errors, and confidently communicate with other children and adults.
Language
Therapy
Whether your child is working on saying their first word, or they need help learning language concepts in school, we have the strategies and tools to help them grow. Language therapy uses a combination of scaffolded instruction and play-based activities to improve your child's comprehension, expression, and social pragmatic language skills.
Stuttering
Therapy
Stuttering can impact a child personally, socially, and academically. We can help your child reduce tension while speaking and feel confident about sharing their voice. Stuttering therapy supports the whole child, including their awareness, speech fluency, self-advocacy skills, and attitudes/emotions about stuttering.
MEET ALEX
Alex Devlin, M.S., CCC-SLP
Owner, Speech-Language Pathologist
Alex is an experienced speech therapist with a passion for supporting communication skills in young children! She earned her master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from The College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY. Throughout her career, she has worked with children of all ages in public schools, private practice, & multidisciplinary clinics - collaborating with occupational and physical therapists along the way.

Alex founded Milton Pediatric Speech & Language to prioritize quality of care and provide a strong support system for families on their child's communication journey. She is dedicated to individualizing therapy based on the unique needs of each and every child that she works with, because no two children are the same.

In Alex’s free time, she enjoys baking, reading, & being outdoors. She also loves spending quality time with family and friends!
Getting Started
STEP 1
If you have concerns regarding your child, contact us to schedule a phone consultation! We will take some time to learn about your child's current communication skills to decide if it's the right time for a speech-language evaluation.
STEP 2
During the initial evaluation, we will gain information about your child’s speech and language development using a range of informal, play-based tasks and standardized tests. This will help us determine eligibility for treatment.
STEP 3
Treatment recommendations will be made based on the results of your child's evaluation. Therapy sessions are always individualized based on your child's unique needs and interests to maximize progress!
Milton Pediatric Speech & Language accepts Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance plans. We also provide superbills to families who wish to seek out-of-network reimbursement for speech therapy services. Please call your insurance company to inquire about out-of-network reimbursement.
We Can Meet You...
At our therapy clinic
We've recently moved! Our clinic is now located on the Quincy/Milton line in MA. We provide individual therapy and small group sessions. We always encourage family involvement to assist children in generalizing their new skills!
At daycare or preschool
We can travel to provide speech therapy services to children at daycare and approved local preschools. Services are available to families in Milton, Quincy, Boston, and South Shore, Massachusetts.
